Won easily; second handily. Tyranus ran in much improved form and forced the pace throughout and was easing up at the end. Stella Perkins appeared to be winning whn a furlong out, buttired in the last sixteenth and was swerving under the handling of a small jockey. July Gip finished well. The Miller, away badly and crowded at tho start, made up many lengths in the last live furlongs. Nat Goodwin ran a dull race and can do better. Ural went in improved form. Sad Sam beat the barrier and ractd a fast quarter, then quit and was evidently short. Rag Tag was closing up strongly at the end. after being nearly left. Gravida, well ridden and reserved in the oarly stages moved up fast on the stretch turn, but unexpectedly failed to stay. Bon Mot is imDrovinsr and closed a big gap.
