Miss Aubrey wore Madam down while rounding the turn into the homestretch and was going away at the end. Venus Victrix began slowly and closed up a big gap, finished fast and outgamed Madam when it came to the final drive. Madam displayed a. lot of early speed, but was made too much use of in the first half. Quicksilver Sue ran well under a poor ride and finished in the middle of the track in the deep going. Miss Shanley was under a hard drive in the last furlong and managed to last long enough to stall off Marion Lynch. The latter finished fast. Amigari was interfered with at the start and knocked out of it. She closed up a big gap and finished fast. Blueblaze came with a rush at the end. Right and True was eased up when beaten. Zazel closed up a big gap, came to the extreme outside at the turn into the homestretch and finished fast. Murphy was of little help to Fon Spray when it came to a hard drive. Peat ran a dull race and can do better. Charles D. finished fast. Lefiare was bid up to ,500 and bought by E. Corrigan. Lefiare, show, out. Zazel, show, 2j to l-Fon Spray, show, 7 to 10.
