Glissando, particularly favored by the stiff going, led throughout and finished with something in reserve. Choteau, repeatedly interfered with, went hopelessly wide on the turns, but finished fast. Formero, also favored by the difficult going, closed up a tremendous gap in the last six furlongs and but for crowding at the end would have been a sharp contender. Stella Perkins displayed early speed. Dagmar tired in the last fifty yards. Grand Sachem ran in improved form. Star Cotton was pocketed and crowded back on the backstretch and was in the worst going throughout. Scratched 37808 Hutch Miller, 109; 37393 Pirate Maid, 94. Matt Hogan.lucky at the start, picked the best going and drew clear of the field on the far turn and easily retained his advantage to the end. Mimo ran a game race, but fell away unexpectedly on the stretch turn and then came again. Ned Dennis was particularly favored by the going and closed up a gap in the last half. Mexicana received a bad ride, she was rushed into the lead in the first quarter and taken through the deep going next to the inner rail and was probably best. Little Margaret tired after being prominent for the first half and was evidently handicapped by the going. Quiz was probably short, but appears to be in good form. Matt Hogan, show, 7 to 10.
