Eloim closed up fast on the stretch turn and stood a long hard drive to stall off Shrine. The latter ran well and improves with each race. Sir Flor-ian was probably short and can beat this company when right. Meistersinger is rounding to. Sir Christopher lacked his usual burst of speed. Redfern was caught in the barrier and unseated from True Blue. Scratched 37913 Flo Russell, 101. Overweights Meistersinger, 2 pounds. Tommy Foster, show, 20 to 1. Eloim, show, 2 to 1. Adel Trebla displayed a wonderful burst of speed, raced with Oriza for a quarter when the latter weakened, then came along and won In a canter. May Holladay, a big good looking filly, closed up with a rush at the end under the whip. The pace was too much for Oriza, which was used up in the early racing and had nothing left when May Holladay challenged in the last sixteenth. Termagant ran a fair race and stood a long stretch drive in game1 fashion. Swivit is improving. Transmigration got off poorly. Caly bolted after the start. Overweights Oriza, 1 pound. Adel Trebla, show, 1 to 3. May Holladay, show, 7 to 5. Oriza, show, 7 to 10. THIRD RACE 3-4 Mile- ?50 added. 3-year-olds. Maidens.
