Mynheer was outrun for the first half, but wore the leaders down while rounding the far turn and came around De Reszke and Mrs. Frank Foster at the turn into the homestretch, finished fast and got up in the last stride. Mrs. Frank Foster showed the most early speed, but tired at the end as if short. The race will probably improve her and she should be hard to beat from now on when properly placed. Gannon rode a weak finish on De Reszke and was interfered with just before reaching the turn for home. Anti Trust tired after running well up with the leaders for six furlongs. Captain Arnold had to go around on the outside in the run down the backstretch, came through on the turn into the homestretch and was in a pocket in the last sixteenth. Bessie McCarthy ran poorly. Symphony got away well in motion, raced up to Lolly Daily while rounding the far turn, shook the latter off in the stretch run and drew away without much effort in the last furlong. Trossachs finished fast and was under punishment all of the last furlong. Lolly Daily beat the barrier a length and set a fast pace, but tired in the final eighth. Kingsland finished well. Sparrow Cop raced up to the leaders at tho turn into the homestretch, but tired when the final drive came. Diaphanous was left at the , post and closed a big gap. Caybon made up a lot of ground in the last furlong. Skibo is a bad actor at the post. Scratched 42983 Class, 102; Burleigh, 102. Overweights Caybon, 13 pounds: Skibo, 1. Symphony, show, 1 to 3. Bud Embry got a lucky start, was off well in motion and raced Macbeth into submission in the first half and had enough in reserve at the end to stall off a challenge from Bard of Avon. The latter was on the outside all the way, but finished fast and would probably have won had Fisher gone to work sooner on him. Macbeth showed speed, but tired in the last furlong. Emma A. M. dropped out of it on the backstretch, but came again at the end and finished fast. Captain Gaines was interfered with at the first turn and so was Fairbury. Duelist was much used in chasing the winner in the Jjgjystages and tired in the last sixteenth. Stand , Pat tired after going three furlongs and did not run to his best form. Badger escaped the early interference and raced Helen Print into submission while rounding the far turn and fought it out with Birdwood all of the last furlong, although under a hard drive from the stretch head to the end. Wreath of Ivy was used up in racing Falernian into submission in the first half and tired when it came to a drive. Ora McKinney ran to her best form. Falernian tired in the last furlong after showing speed. Louis Kraft was crowded back at the first turn and could never get up, although Minder rode him hard all the way.
