Allista broke running, raced Komombo into submission in the first half, went wide at the turn into the homestretch, came again at the end and was wearing Agnes Brennan down and would have won in two more strides. Komombo was bumped into at the start and was outrun all the way. Morning Star closed a big gap and finished fast. Scratched 43003Mad Mullah, 110; 43268 Lady Free Knight, 106. Parisienne showed much early speed, but was much used in setting the early pace and was under a- hard drive all of the last furlong. Invincible saved ground at the turn into the homestretch, but tired after getting to the leaders. Boundling ran a good race and is worth remembering. Custus also went well. Hennessy kept him in behind One More until nearing the turn into the homestretch, where he went to the front quickly, but had to be hustled all of the last sixteenth to stall off a challenge from Henry of Trastamare. The latters rider was not much help to him when the pinch came. The horse was outrun in the first half and had to go all around his field to get up and ran the best race of the field. One More showed the most early speed, but could not last the route and tired in the last quarter. Johnson was more of a detriment than a help to Lou Woods, which ran away three miles after the race. Corrected weights Miss Aubrey, 98. Overweights One More, 2$ pounds. Khaki, show, 2 to 1. Henry of Trastamare, show, 2 to 1. One More, show, 1 to 2.
