Pilot got away well in motion, showed the most speed throughout and lasted it out, although tiring rapidly at the end. J. V. Kirby could never get through until well straightened for home and was closing up rapidly in the stretch under punishment. Florista closed up well on the last turn, but tired in the last furlong. Legal Maxim was cut off shortly after passing the half, losing a lot of ground and was closing up fairly well at the end. Roltaire usual, showed speed, but quit badly. Pilot, show, 1 to 3. J. V.
