WALTER MILLERS ROUGH RIDING, in commenting upon the disqualification of Grace 6. at Oakland Ittt Wednesday, the San Francisco Chronicle of the following â– nailing had this to aaj with reference to the raagh riding of jockey Walter Miller: "There is no doabt that Miller fre- |iiently attempts to ride two horses in one race He came out here with that replication and since Coating here has been set down for one week and filled K2M, in the meantime, the disqualifications have very naturally eaaaed dlaaatlifnthm , The average racegoer is a haul loser on a disqualification proposition. It looks as if the time has arrived to end tin- Whole thins by patting Miller down for the balance of the season. He ii.is disregarded warnings in the past. He has been allowed so much license on eastern tracks that it is now second nature for Miller to bump into a contender. If the badges have been warranted in making all the rulings against Ifiller, it woald appear that a fine is an inadequa te punishment He has burned up thousands of dollars of food money by his tactics and there should he an end to the whole thin;; in the best interests of racing oat here."
