Ida May. favored by the going and running to her best form, followed the early leaders close up and. wearing down Hollow in the nhal sixteenth, won drawing away with plenty in reserve. Hollow, well ridden and Boowlng the Bloat early speed, was right there throughout, but tired slightly in the final drive. No Engine U showing stead] Improvement, finished with a rush, although swerving, and was going gamely a: the end. Fandango is wind broken and could hardly breathe after finishing, hut sheared speed for in quarter. Ting Fang was only qualifying and was eased up throughout and is worth remembering. Chancellor began slowly and seemed to be laboring in the early stages, but came East when he fully settled into his stride and. Bhishing fast, was rapidly overhauling the winner and would have panned him in a few more strides. Jim Simpson r.tu fairly well and had no mishaps. The latter ahowed early speed and ran well throughout. Flip, poorly handled was cut c*¥ on the lirst turn and again at the half-mile ground when he attempted to move into a good po-iiion and tired near the end. Tom Gilroy and Demo can do better.
