DEATH OF CAPTAIN CONNOR. New Orleans. Fa.. February 27. — Captain Harry ftf. ttniior. for twenty-five years president of the Louisiana Jockey Club, died at a local sanitarium this morning an the result oi aii operation for op* penrticitis. Mr. Connor was widely known as a strong admirer of the thoroughbred and in the days of the old Metairie track, raced a slriiii; of high class horses.
