Dr. Arnold Frank, a representative of the German Government, is at Lexington, Ky.. to arrange for the purchase of ]. hio thoroughbreds to be used by the oiticers of the German army. Dr. frank will l,r in. ires, geldings Mini s;;i||ions which ale service ably sound, but they must be tifieen bands high and have a good conformation. The mares will be used for breeding purposes after they tire loo old for army service. Dr. Prank came to this country from Australia, where he purchased a large number i thoroughbred horses lor the German army.
