W. H. ROWE THE NEW REGISTRAR. W. II. Itowe. who has been for many years identi-lied with the thoroughbred horse breeding iadustrj in this eoutry and considered an authority on pedi grees. has succeeded J. E. Wheeler as Registrar of the Jockey Club. This announcement will be received with acclaim by horsemen in all parts of the country, for it would have been hard to find a more carelessly conducted office than that of the Registrar in recent years. Mr. Rowe is presume.! To ie thoroughly competent and it is to be expected that he will soon have the affairs of the office iu good shape and that they will continue so.
