The fillies are by Juvenal, Kiuley Mack, Star Ituby. Order. Goldfinch and Mimie. The one ■Mat fancied hy those who have observed Iheni in their work is the chestnut filly, Character, by Mimic or Kinley Mack out of Isiae, by Itosebery. She is a half sister to Hamburg Belle. Writing of Hamburg Belle brings to mind lhat with the coming of Artful from New York this week all four of Ihe female winners of the Futurity are now la the si ltd here. They are The Butter-Hies, LAlouettc. Hamburg Belle and Artful. French Nun has been shipped here from Lottis-ille by J. II. Baker and will lie tamed out until fall. Baker has had much bad luck wilb his racing string in the last few weeks. Ixichgoil recently died: fiauzo in his last start was run into the fence and will be out of training for a part of the season, and every time Monochord has worked fast she was pulled up lame. Pirate Polly, the live -year-old chestnut mare by Pirate of Penzance -Kosino. is now in the slud at Sanford C. Lynes l.archinont Stud and was sent to the court of St. Dory I few days ago.
