TROUBLE FOR JUMPERS AT NORFOLK. National Steeplechase and Hunt Association Places Them Under the Ban. New York, August l-JVll persons, and horses participating in steeplechase races at the meeting of the Jamestown Jockey Club, which is scheduled to open, nt the track at Norfolk, Va.. tomorrow, will be under the ban of the National. Steeplechase and Hunt Association, as is made plain in the following resolution, which was adopted today: "The sanction of the stewards of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association not having been applied for by the Jamestown Club, it is resolved: "That any owner, trainer or jockey racing at the proposed meeting of the Jamestown Jockey Club near Norfolk, Va., shall be refused further license or privileges at any meeting held under the rules of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association, and any horse entered , in steeplechases at said meeting shall be perpetually disqualified.
