Tom Shaw was waited with until making the turn into the homestretch, then came around the leaders and, finishing fast and gamely, outstayed Adrian under punishment. The latter was much used in racing Albia into defeat and tired, but hold on gamely. Albia showed the most speed for a half mile and then tired. Emma G. and Cannie Maid were outrun all the way. The latter made a determined challenge in the stretcli run, but could not get to the winner. Gold Run showed much early speed, but tired after going two miles. Bilberry balked at the thirteenth jump and was pulled up. Lee Harrison II. was reserved from the early pace and uutil straightened out in the homestretch, then fame fast under punishment and, catching Zelina tiring at the end, won going away. Zclina, off for-wardly, dashed to the front and set the pace until well inside the final furlong, but tired under punishment. Prince Brutus ran well ui until on the turn for the homestretch, where he went wide. Blue Cunt showed sneed, but tired under a drive. No Trumper ran poorly. George Swain showed speed. The winner was entered for 1907.sh00; no bid. Edwin Gum, easily Iwst, went to the front when called on and, racing John Dillon into defeat in the first six furlongs, had plenty left to stall off Ormondes Right when the latter challenged in the stretch. Ormondes Right beat the barrier a length, but was taken back and saved, then moved up gamely on the turn into the homestretch, but quit under punishment in the last sixteenth. John Dillon showed early speed, but tired after going six furlongs. Blue Buck ran poorly. Scratched 70373 Euripides, 111; 70S013Moonraker, 111; G3531 Lester L. Ilayman, 108.
