SCH REI BERS STABLE AT OAKLAND. Oakland, Cal., November 2. Two shipments of horses belonging to Harney Schreiber arrived at the track today. Eleven came from the east in charge of Dave Henry and eight which have been turned out at Woodland,. CaL, since the close of the Butte meeting, were brought down by U. S. Plun-kett. They were liaulord, Expectant, Orlina, Euiily M. and four yearlings. The horses from Latouia and Woodlands Farm were Deutschlanil, Bannock Hob, Gracious Dame, Piquart and seven yearlings. Mr. Schreiber is expected here before the end of next week. S. C. Hildreth and trainer J .owe have been devoting considerable time and care in schooling the Hildreth yearlings at the barrier and the youngsters have learned what is required of them when they are sent to the post. The best, work-outs today were: Optician, a mile iu 1:41, the quarter post time of which was 1:01s, 1:15 and 1:20; J. C. Clem, three-quarters iu 1:17; Sahara, three-quarters in 1:101; Lurctta, live-eighths in l:ir; F.arly Tide, three-quarters iu 1:15!; Creston. three-quarters in 1:15; Proper, one-half in 51;. Da-runia, one-half iu til; Ambitious, live-eighths iu 1:0.!; Entre Nous, live-eighths iu 1:0".; Spring Han, three-quarters in 1:101; San Nicholas, one mile in 1:18; Neva Lee, three-quarters jn 1:25; F. Judge IL C. Hopper arrived from Ii is home in Kentucky yesterday and was an interested visitor at the track Martin Nathansou is also here from Chicago, bringing a big list of stake entries which he secured while in New Yorlc last month. Mr. Nathansou will be steward and associate judge in the stand with Mr. Hopper.
