WEIGHTS FOR QUEENSBORO. The weights for the Quecnsboro Steeplechase, at twp miles and a half, to be run Saturday, were announced yesterday, with Herculoid having the post of honor under 100 pounds. But as Herculoid is not a probable starter, nor Grandpa, the second on the list, it seems likely that Thistledale will be the one to carry the top impost. The weight is 155, pounds, and there doesnt seem to be any good reason why he should not be sent out for the race, inasmuch as he has recovered from his injuries. Mr. McCann is on even terms with Thistledale, while Jimmy Lane is four pounds away. Mr. Colt is represented also by Gus Straus under 150, Blue Pigeon, 139, Arian, 133, and Rose of Dawn, 132. It will ba seen, therefore, that he holds a pretty strong hand, as any one of these may be sent out for the race excepting Blue Pigeon, which is on the shelf with a bowed tendon. Pure Pepper, Knight of Elway, Deleanta and Sunglow are each in at a weight which would give them a good winning chance if at their best. The weights are: Herculoid 100 Blue Pigeon 139 Grandpa 15S Pure Pepper 13S Thistledale 155 Knight of Elway 130 Mr. McCann 155 Sunglow 130 Jimmy Lane 151 Bat 135 Gus Straus 150 Maximilian 134 Deleanta 14S Alamansor 134 Conover ., 148 Dulcian 134 Pagan Bey 140 Arian ...133 Garrett 142 Sinister 133 Essex II 140 Rose of Dawn 132 Ben Shaw 1.140 True Boy 130 Penalties accrue from Monday last.
