Jacob Beckley, who will be first assistant to starter Holtman when racing begins at Santa Anita Park, is now schooling a number of yearlings at the Ascot Park track. lie will . continue doing this work all winter as it has been decided to stable only the older horses at the new track, leaving the yearlings .it the old track throughout the meeting. The reason for this arrangement is the fact . that "there will be more horses at Santa Anita Park than can be comfortably stabled if the yearlings were included.
