Oraculiim was reserved in behind Right and True to the stretch, then ran Into a safe lead and won eased up. Right and True, favored by the going, showed the most early speed und, while giving way to the winner, held on gamely in second place. Workman was always prominent, ran a good race and finished resolutely. Glancus had no mishaps and ran poorly. The others were outpaced from start to finish. Trr.sh is a smart filly in the mud, was crowded back right after the start and forced to race around on the outside, but came fast in the stretch and won cantering. Fancy Bird made up ground and came fast and resolutely right at the finish. Rappahannock tired in the stretch after setting the early pace. King Thistle ran well throughout. Yaddo showed speed, but tired in the stretch run. True Boy and Hancock made up much ground. Eminola quit badly. Weirdsome ran into the lead on the backstretch and, keeping it, appeared to have the race won, but his rider was unprepared for the winners sudden challenge. Oxford ran well to the stretch, then tired in the final furlong, but bears watching. Lane Allen appeared 1 dislike the going, but ran well for three-quarters, when he was knocked against the fence and forced to he pulled up. Ballot Box showed speed, but failed to stay. Scallop stumbled and fell at the last sixteenth post.
