Richardson. Went to post at 1:59. At post 2 minutes. Start bad. Won easily; second and third driving. Lute 1osler, away fast and favored by the going, moved into a long lead at once and was never seriously menaced, winning eased to a canter in the last furlong. Ed Kane, away well, lost ground for the first three fui-loiigs, but came fast in the stretch under the whip and finished gamely. Sussex put up a good performance and stayed well in the final drive. Rustle, away in a tangle and going wide most of the way, only ran fairly well, but can do much better. Inauguration showed a brief flash of early speed, but tired after going a half. Ansonla can do much better. Masson unseated his rider while going to the post. The winner was entered for ,000: no bid. Alencon, showing sudden improvement and seemingly favored by the going, ran into a long lead, never left the result in doubt and won with speed in reserve. No Trumper saved much ground throughout, held on well in the final drive and was a lucky second. Miltiades was taken wide most of the way, might have won with a better ride and was unlucky to lose second place. Heart of Ilvacinth, from, a slow beginning, gained steadily and was going fast at the end. Kiamesha II. showed carlv speed, but tired after going a good half. Donna forced the running from the start, caught Javanese tiring after going three-quarters and came away easily in the last sixteenth. Jack Dolan, after trailing far hack for the first three-quarters, moved up fast when the others tired and outstayed Light Note in the closing strides. Light Note swerved repeatedly, but was blinded by the mud and might have won if running straight. Javanese tired after setting the pace for the first three-quarters. Koator, awav slowly and almost left at the post, .was taken around the others and, gaining steadily, got up in the closing stride. Sally Preston, hard ridden throughout, saved ground when turning into the stretch and, in a fast finish, was holding on gamely at the end. Coon showed superior early speed and stayed better than usual. Platoon showed superior early speed and set the pace to the stretch, but tired fast in the last sixteenth. Oraculum was in a forward position when Platoon cut him oft! sharply and forced him far back, then closed a gap and might have won with clear sailing. Avaunteer ran poorly. Adesso ran In forward contention to the stretch turn and was shuifled back, but came again in the last fnrlong and was easily best of the others. Fay showed superior early speed with clear sailing, but tired in the stretch drive. Mr. Peabody showed speed and raced into a contending position In the first half. Suffice ran poorly. Rebounder had no mishaps. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
