VETERAN WESTERN TRAINER PASSES AWAY. Pat Grogan. a kindly eccentric old soul and a good trainer, is dead. Long ago be trained for J. D. Patton and others of the colony of bona breeders and horse lovers settled at or near Mary-ville. Mo. Ethel Gray was one of the beat IMM he ever trained and she was good euough to go to the races anywhere. But Grogan trained many other horses of note iu western training. He was sixty-two years of age.
