ENGAGEMENTS OF AMERICAN JOCKEYS JOCKEYSAs As usual a number of American jockeys will ride ou the European tracks this year Fred Taral and his son John will again wear the colors of Baron Springer in Austria Harry Birkonruth is under contract to Hcrr Victor Mautncr von Mark hof and has joined the hitters stable near Vienna Jockey Miles will handle the horses owned by the Hungarian millionaires Louis and Arthur Egydic Johnny Rciff will ride for the Sicbert stable In Ger ¬ many Winnie OConnor who is riding in Franco at present will report to his new employers the Wcinbcrg stable next week for a campaign on the German race courses Two other American boys Korb and McDermott will also bo with this big concern Harry Lewis and Harry Spencer will also ride In Germany Jockey Rausch will be in France while Danny Mahcr Lucien Lyne and Skeets Martin are again under contract to handle thoroughbreds in England
