LAW THAT STOPPED BENNING COURSE The act of congress which put the Bcnning track out of business is short ami to the point Here is its verbiage It shall be unlawful for any per ¬ son or association or persons to bet gamble or make I KM iks or pools on the result of any trotting or run ¬ ning races of horses or boat race or race of any kind or on any election or any contest of any kind or game of baseball Any person or association of persons violating the provisions of tills section shall bo lined not exceeding 500 or imprisoned not more than ninety days or both
