IMPROVEMENTS AT FORT ERIE TRACK TinOTalo N 1 May 20 Superintendent Mycr in charge of the work of improvement at the Fort Krie track suited that he hail at present abouT forty men at work but this force will probably soon he in oreased to 100 or over as the improvements that are planned and will involve a tremendous amount of work if they are to be done hy the time the meet ¬ ing opens July 27 It is said that fully 40000 will he spent on the property this year Outside of tlie improvements to the track itself one of the most important changes will ho made in front of the grandstand where an Immense granolithic pavement will he laid A wide granolithic walk is also to ho laid from the gates to the Grand Trunk tracks Tills walk will he covered the entire distance which featnr will no doubt he greatly appreciated by patrons on rainy days
