SEA SICK II AND QUINTETTE RUN DEAD HEAT London June 1 The French Derby Prix dn Jockey Club was run at Chantilly Sunday and re ¬ sulted in a dead heat between E Deschamps Quin ¬ tette and W K Vandorbilts Sea Sick II Kcnil worth was third a length behind the winners and Mr Vauderbllts Northeast a short head behind Ken llwonth It was a most severe race Sea Sick II started for England after being cooled off and will 1C no accidents occur and he makes the channel trip well run In the Epsom Derby Wednesday He is now second favorite for the race More than a few English racing experts saw the race Their opinion was that the French colt would be a formidable contender In the English Blue Riband if he shipped welL But they thought also that the American colt Norman III would beat him The American jockey Milton Henry rode Sea Sick II in the Prix dn Jockey Club and will go to England to ride him in Wednesdays race Bcllhouse the regular Van derbilt jockey was set aside for the two races Sea Sick II is a Frenchbred colt by Elf Saf Saf and cost Mr Vanderbilt 5000 as a yearling Quin ¬ tette Is a bay Frenchbred cplt by Gardefeu Di ¬ nette Both dead heaters arc in the Grand Prix de Paris run at Longchamps June 14 Northeast which ran an extraordinarily good race yesterday is a bay colt by Perth Nordenfleld
