EBOR A GOOD IRISH THREEYEAROLD An Irishbred threeyearold colt Ebor by Hack ler Lady Gough has won all his races so 1ar this season and is selected as the best present youngster racing iu England So highly thought of is Ebor that Sam Darling the great English trainer offered A Bendon who owns the son of Hackler 50000 for him after his win in the Marlborough Stakes The offer was declined Ebors latest exploit was to play with August Belmonts Historic arid a good Held in the Maryborough Stakes at Gatwick May 24 Ebor was not a good twoyearold He ran three times as Oisin last year in Ireland and was once third among a bad lot and figured behind Temeraire and Rhodora Irr the famous dead heat for the London ¬ derry Plate But this year he has won three races beating St Wolf the Newmarket Stakes winner arrd Dalgety at even weights In the Tudor Plate at Sandown and also capturing the Marlborough Stakes as above The colt is In Captain Dewhnrsts stable and is a big brown freestriding youngster of much quality lie Is well engaged this year being in the St Leger at Doncaster 50000 Jockey Chili Stakes at Newmarket and some twenty stake events yet to be run
