MOSCOW IMPERIAL CLUB SUIT OVER A HORSE In 190G the Imperial Moscow Turf Club ot Russia bought the horse St Denis by St Simon Broach of S B Joel for 40000 Joel guaranteeing him to be sound for breeding purposes St Denis being examined by a veterinary expert turned out to be windbroken and to have a bone spavin on one leg The Russians refused to take the horse and are now suing Joel in the English Cortrt of Appeals for the half of the purchase price which they paid The case hangs on whether the imperfections of St Denis wind and limb rendered him unsound for stud purposes
