It was a draw for the reason that there ivas ho separate show price and was a draw regard- : less of where the other horse finished. I J. A. L. Mc. McAlester, Okla. When such bet- ting was common it was held that when one bet that he could place the horses one. two, three, they must run exactly as he called them or his bet was lost. At present, locally, at any rate, a dead heat in such a case is held to produce a split, as it would in the case of a single bet.
