Rosslenton was always a keen contender, finished a game and persistent second and ran like a stayer, ouuimer Night was excessively urged in making the pace and tired finally. Lawton AViggins loomed up at the end of five furlongs and retired, was palpably short and had no chance with his bad rider. Lasata. prominent at the end of five furlongs, quit badly. Brother Jonathan was well up for six furlongs, but dropped out in the closing drive. Guushot set the pace to the last sixteenth and was then badly crossed bv Sententious and forced to pull up. Mariana ran well on her own courage. Gus Helm, away ilatfooted. trailed for a half. but. was gaining at the end. Guate-motzin was never dangerous. Kin showed superior speed for five furlongs. Overweights Mariana. 1 pound: Kin. 1.
