Black Mary caught Queen Marguerite at the head of the stretch and, coming on gamely, won with something to spare. Queen Marguerite raced Heknows into defeat and saved ground on the stretch turn, but readily jiayc way to the winner. Ardri finished gamely and took third place In the last two strides. Biskra and omcideut were always outrun. Heknows set the pace fast to the stretch and quit badly. The winner was entered for .00: no bid. Imitator, outrun early, closed a big gap and finished resolutely. Golconda was always prominent and a game third. Burgher showed a good turn of early speed, but quit badly. Florence II., never far from the front, took the lead on tho stretch turn, but tired and just lasted long enough to win in a long drive. Queen Lead was best and should have won. but stumbled and almost fell on the first turn, then worked her way around on tho outside and was gaining on the winner through the stretch, but could not quite get up. Bigot showed speed, but tired badly in the stretch. Tivoll ran his race. The others were never contenders. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Overweights Tivoll. 1 pound: Enticing. 2. Cressina set the pace and appeared a winner at the head of the stretch, but tired badly right at the finish. Notasulga showed a good turn of speed, but faltered in the final sixteenth. Arondack was sluggish in the early running, but closed up some ground In the stretch. Saracinesca had no mishaps. Halifax did not show his usual speed. Woodlauc quit utterly iu the stretch. Yankee Daughter, crowded back early, saved ground on the stretch turn and. finishing with a rush next to the rail, bumped Siiellbound and knocked him down when within a few strides of the finish, but for which she would have won. Prosper showed a good turn of e.arly siieed, but quit in the stretch. Dandv Dixon, outrun early, closed up some ground. Mobility quit early. Spellbound, after being repeatedly cut off, had an excellent chance to win when he fell. The winner was entered for 1908.sh00; no bid. Scratched 7S014May River. 94. Midshipman Easy had no mishaps and, after chasing the winner closely to the stretch, tired badly. Gene F. finished resolutely. Eustacian did not show his usual speed. Overweights Miss C. Divota. 4 pounds.
