The latter showed much speed, but tired in the last fifty yards. Catherine F. finished with a great, rush. Ardis ran well. All Alone set a fast pace and tired hi the stretch. The latter forced the pace to the far turn and stood a long stretch drive gamely. Rialto showed speed to the stretch and tired badly when the lunch came. Harcourt finished fast. Bitter Sir was carried far out on the turn for home by La Cliata just as he was making his run. Sam G. ran well, but tired in the last hundred yards. Gold Heart, off Hying, dashed into an eariv lead and showed brilliant speed throughout, faltered for an Instant when a sixteenth out, but rallied at the end and finished gamely. Lisaro, badly outpaced to the stretch, came fast in the final sixteenth, only to tire badly in the last few strides under a powerful ride. Sir Edward loomed up when a sixteenth out next to the rail, but tired badly in the closing strides. Royal Stone ran well to the stretch. Tom McGrath showed early speed and was evidently short.
