Madden ha- ehaeri a number of good colts notably Newmarket, bv Plaudit Nalina: Big Stick, by Ogden — Ondurdi-: Hampton Court, by Galore -Dorothy Hampton, ami Shannon by Ogden -Lambent. Another promising colt is C. I.. Harrisons Waldo, by Planudcs— Salaam, which defeated Newmarket in the Juvenile Stakes. August Belmonts best colt seems to be Starbottle, bv Hastings Suufish. while II. P. Whitney bus shown a stilling filly in Greenvale. by Ham burs Mineola.
