TWO-YEAR-OLDS IN THE EAST. New York. Mav 20. — Crack two year-olds are limited in number eii the Meal tracks this year. So far the best youngster appears to be James B. Mr. Keen.-has another high -class two year old ill a tillv named Flashing, by Ben Brush— Dazzling, while Degree, a filly by Star ltubv Optime. a half sister to Sysonby. is also well thought of. J. E. Madden ha- ehaeri a number of good colts notably Newmarket, bv Plaudit Nalina: Big Stick, by Ogden — Ondurdi-: Hampton Court, by Galore -Dorothy Hampton, ami Shannon by Ogden -Lambent. Another promising colt is C. I.. Harrisons Waldo, by Planudcs— Salaam, which defeated Newmarket in the Juvenile Stakes. August Belmonts best colt seems to be Starbottle, bv Hastings Suufish. while II. P. Whitney bus shown a stilling filly in Greenvale. by Ham burs Mineola.
