STEEPLECHASE ASSOCIATION ELECTS OFFICERS New York January C At the annual meeting of the National Steeplechase and Hunts Association J II Alexandre II J Morris and 7 E Wldeuer were elected stewards of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association for three years August Belmont was reelected president J II Alexandre vicepresi ¬ dent and J E Cowdin secretary and treasurer for 1010 1010The The appointment of the following officials of the Brookline Country Club was approved F J Bryan starter H P Conkliu clerk of the course and scales handicapperPermission W S Yosbtirgh handicapper Permission to ride as gentlemen riders for 1010 was gentlemenF granted to various gentlemen F J Bryan who has had official connection with racing for several years was appointed to take charge of the affairs of the amateur racing associations and will open an oflice in the Windsor Arcade as headquarters for the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association and the Hunts Committee the two bodies that have had charge of the sport for the past two seasons Mr Bryan will act as secretary of the Hunts Committee
