THOROUGHBRED MARES REACH MEXICO Mexico City Mex January 25 The first ship ¬ ment of Kentucky thoroughbred mares which are being brought in to furnish Mexico with candidates for future Mexican Derbv races arrived here yester ¬ day having been brought by I r Henry L Casey horseman and turfman of this city There were twentyfour head in the first shipment all of which have been sold to local owners Other shipments will follow
