GOSSIP FROM THE BLUE GRASS REGION Lexington Ky March 12 The trainers at the Kentucky Association course have had another satis ¬ factory week The weather continued good and pro ¬ gress was made in the work of the horses though few attempted anything beyond gallops at a 200 gait With the opening of the Kentucky racing season still seven weeks away there is ample time to get ready The health of the horses is excellent excellentIrving Irving H Vheatcroft who has returned from British Columbia rode out to the track Thursday and saw the twoyearolds that William Steele is handling for him gallop quarters in about 2i seconds hard held and expressed himself as highly pleased with them themThe The only additions to the strings in training re ¬ ported luring the week were a couple of twoyear olds
