S C HILDRETH SELLS RACQUET New York March 21 Matt Byrnes has purchased from S C Hildreth the fouryearold Ilanald horse Racquet Raequot it is predicted will find his way back into the stable of P S P Randolph Mr Randolph developed the colt and after Nat Byer had made a useful selling plater of him Racquet was taken from Mr Randolph by Jule Garson after a selling race The fact that he found his way into the stable of Air IIHdroth created a suspicion that Hildreth backed Garson and took Racquet as a retaliatory measure Last spring at Jravesend after Montgomery had beaten Racquet in the Myrtle Selling Stakes Mr Randolph hoisted Montgomery from 1000 to 8000 on the theory that Mr Hii dretlLhad entered the Possara horse too cheaply Mr Randolph needs a horse of tho quality of Rac ¬ quet to take the place of his good gelding Patsy whici died at Jacksonville recently
