JOCKEY SHILLINGS APPLICATION TABLED. Nov York. April 1 The application of jockey C. H. Shilling for a riding license was talded by the stewards of the factory Club at a meeting held to day. Last fall Shilling, while in the employ of It. I.. Thomas, had an altercation with his employer. in which he stabbed 1 ini seriously. This charge is s still hanging over him in the courts and will come i- up for trial during the spring. Shilling rode at t Juarez -ind Oakland during the winter months and 1 it was thought that he might be granted a license J for the coming season. S. C.
