Applications have been received for over four hundred stalls up to the present time, arttk many more horsemen to hear from. The last ..f the stake entries have arrived, and all the events have tilled as well as they did a rear aaa, when a meeting of thirteen days was held. Several owners have sent word that thev will ship t.. Blue Bonnets this week to rest their horses for the meeting. Montreal is looked on as a fit si -class place to rest, due tp the line pasturing around the track. The past weeks tine weather has put the going in perfect condition. There are uiaiiv can-didalcs for the steeplechase events at Blue Bonnets now at the rack that are being schooled regularlv through the tield. which is fast and ready to race over. List.-; Jk.- Haym.in. which was cut down at Baltimore a year ag... has l-.-covcred from bis ailment and his shown some good performances over the .lumps this spring. Dr. Aiken*, owned by Nat Kay-last season and now owned in Montreal, is another jumper that is going well. Nathan Hale, owned bv Scott Ives, is another that is being fitted to race, through the field at Blue Bonnets, and will afterwards be sent to Saratoga to race. This is one of the most promising junipers that has ever been .•win .1 in Canada. The Windsor Hotel Stakes will Ik- run on the oiM-ning day of the meeting. June 4. Besides the S1.20H added bj the Montreal locker Club, a piece of plate valued at BSM will go to the winner.
