SUMMER MEETINGS IN OKLAHOMA. Oklahoma City. Okla.. June 2. The Oklahoma Jockey Clubs spring meeting. June 15 to Jnlv I. will attract horsemen throughout Ihe west. The Oklahoma Derby has eleaed with twenty four nominations ami the Independence Handicap with thirty-four. Th.-track is repotted in excellent condition and the town is looking forward Pi opening day. This meeting is to be followed by meetings of several weeks in duration at Tulsa and Bartelsville. thereby providing racing in the southwest for the greater part of Ihe summer. Quite a consignment is expe. ted from Liuisville when the Churchiil Downs meeting closes, among them lieing the horses of W:nle M.T.emore, II. T. Balcheler. L. O. Lee and Tholl Bros.
