HAMILTON MEETING COMES TO CLOSE. Record-Breaking Crowd in Attendance — Seismic Wins the National Handicap Impressively. Hamilton. Ont.. June 25.— The closing day of the* Hamilton Jockey Clubs mc-ting brought out a tei-ord breaking crowd, the attendance U-ing bv far the largest of the mooting. Seismics victory, following his success in the Dominion Plate of yesterday, when he shouldered 127 |m uuiIs and maiVe his opjxisition look cheap, stamps him as a shifty sort of a h« r-e and one that will have to be reckoned with in the handicaps at Fort Erie ami Windsor. He is by Mr. Seagrams ,,|,| horse. Havoc, out of Scmloy. and is rated by some as good a horse as Inferno was. The Montr.-al owned Ballycastle beat a band of g HMl juiniM-rs in the Burlington Handicap. The old horse fenced well and showed good speed all the way. George II. Whitney, of Kentucky, won his first race on the circuit when Henry Hutchison galloped home with a three-lengths lead in the opening dash. A majority of the horsemen will delay their departure for Fort Erie until Monday, when three specials will leave here for that point. John F. Ryan, of the Canadian National Bureau of Breeding, left lor Montreal today.
