ROUGH RIDING MARS THE NEPTUNE. Kingpin Seriously Interfered With and Jockey Sco-ville Gets Reprimand — Conference as to Future. New York, July 7. — Hough riding marred the run, ling of the Neptune Stakes at Yonkers this afternoon and brought aboat the defeat of the best horse when Royal Meteor led Kingpin home. There were only three starters, and on the baekstretch Scoville. who rode Bobby Buyer, cut Kingpin off so badly thai he lost half a d zen lengths. After this setback he came again with such a rush that Natter was forced to drive Hoyal Meteor to win. He was first by a length ami a half, but Kingpin had been forced to close an immense gap and the effort left him little for the final drive with the winner. After the race Scoville was reprimanded by the stewards, and would have been more severely disciplined had lie not insisted that the crowding was unintentional.
