NOTES OF THE TURF. Lady Amelia, purchased a few days ago by August Belasoat from John F. Madden, is in foal to Ogden. Fd Whyte is handling Mill on the Floss, the only horse belonging to J. K. Seagram that is being raced at Windsor. Frank Horold has purchased Agnar. a two-year-old bay colt by Solitaire II. — Handsome Florry, from Thomas B. Mannix. Charles Carrolls Heckmesser. by Meddler — Reeky Sharp, IV.. won the Orenville Maiden Two-Year-Old Plate at Rath, Eng., Monday. Tasteful, Aldrian and Itlue Mouse, three horses that were supposed to have changed hands at the Bevel1 wy eh Stable sale, were in reality bid in. Two carloads of horses will be shipped from Kentucky to take part in the Labor Day races at Hawthorne. This will provide some sixty horses to til! the card that has been arranged. Judge Frank Skinner has notified Secretary Treat, of the Pacific Jockey Club, that he has reinstated W. C. Weant and his stable. Weatit was placed under the ban for the inconsistent running of Kopek at the reient Cheyenne meeting. Jockey Moles worth was suspended for an unsatisfactory ride in one of the races in which Kopek participated. Jim- Veager is an absentee from Windsor, having been notified that he would not lie admitted to the track as an aftermath of the investigation into the Caper Sauce-Mill on the Floss race run at the previous meeting.
