VALLEY FARM HORSES ARE SAVED. Hamilton. Ont.. Septeiulier aV— During a violent thunderstorm lightning struck one of the stables at Valley Farm and it was set atire, and along with some "other buildings adjoining was destroyed, the |0M being about $::. NH . There were seven ot the Valley Farm racing string in the stables at the time but tb.se were all taken safely out through II ffortS of a ■amber of stable hands Who were •heal the premises. The horses which were saved from the lire wen-: Mart lies. David Garrick. Gllai-mer Charlie Gilbert, Harvey aud Denhain. Hon. .1. S. Headrte and Maj. William Hendric were ab sent at tin- time the tire occurred.
