Thomas on Glucose the offender Thomas con tinucd his reckless course and at the quarter iwst forced Huck to take back Steinhardt on Alfred Lhe Great then came along wltn a rush displaced Glucose for the lead and forced him back by pulling over sharply against the inner rail Cherryola and Prince Gal then came on the outside and forced Alfred the Great back In the stretch Cherryola drew out to win as her rider pleased Prince Gal iust outstaying Huck Crowding due to reckless riding was held re ¬ sponsible for the fall of Dottle B ridden hy E Martin in the lifth race The filly was in a promi ¬ nent position approaching the lower turn when those closest to her seemingly pulled in and caused her to fall Martin was lucky to get off with a severe shaking Mip The mishap served to Defeat County Tax favorite in the race as he was forced to shorten his stride perceptibly to avoid falling over the prostrate horse and Ella Bryson won by a nose Some noseSome of the starters in the closing dash
