OAKLAND STAKES FILL WELL TOTAL OF MORE THAN SIX HUNDRED NOMINA ¬ TIONS IS RECEIVED Average Is Over Fifty to a Stake and Showing Is Highly Satisfactory to New Cali fornia Jockey Club San Francisco CaL November 4 Entries are still coining in for thu stakes of the New California Jockey Club Secretary Percy W Treat announces1 that the various events tilled in a highly satisfac ¬ tory manner there being over OOO nominations to date making an average of alnmt fifty to each event The list received a substantial addition today through the receipt of the entries of 1J J Macken ¬ zie Tin entries of Barney Schreiber Henderson Hogan and Karl Linnell and others in the list are expected In a day or two Among the nominators an W J Spelrs W C Weaver Theodore Abadie and Capt K B Cassatt i iSecretary Secretary Treat was notified that two carloads of horses owned by Henderson Hogan are oil routi from Louisville Barney Schreiber wrote Secretary Treat that he will be here November 20 and that he will require all the stalls he reserved at the close of last season Trainer Dave Henry brought down the Irorses that had been turned out at Wood ¬ land in this state and others will come from Mr Schrelbers Missouri farm farmKarl Karl Linnell wrote that he will bring out six year ¬ lings in addition to his older horses horsesJ J O Keene may handle a few horses which J B Respess plans to send here from Latonia Henderson Hogan have made arrangement with J N Camden and J O Keene by which they will have second call on the services of A Thomas
