PAT DUNNE LOSES FAIR STAR Cincinnati 0 November 13 Fair Star a two yearold bay colt by Star Shoot Fair Penitent that Pat Dunne purchased from Catesby Wood ford during the Churchill Downs meeting is reported dead at Latonia as the result of an attack of catarrhal fever Mr Dunne lias been anything but lucky with the twoyearold division of his stable this fall as on the opening day of the meeting at Churchill Downs his smart tilly Crash was hope ¬ lessly crippled and has now gone to the stud He bought Fair Star to take the place of Crash in his stable Mr Dunne will take a nice bunch of year ¬ lings to Mexico next week He has some grand lookers all of royal breeding and in their break ¬ ing and training they have so far met with no mishaps These youngsters he purchased out of the sales in the east last summer He paid good prices for the entire collection and if appearances go for anything he has several early winners in his barn
