JOCKEY LEWIS SUSPENDED AT 0GDEN. Ogdsn, Utah. May K..— Despite cold and cloud? weather conditions, a good sized crowd attended the races today. A well balanced card promised sport of an interesting nature. Surprises were the order Of the afternoon, but one of the public favorites netting Ifnie first. The poor showing mule by Cone W 1 in tlie third race caused the Judges tii enter upon tin investigation, with tin- result that jockey J. Lewis was suspended Indefinitely. The boy seem Ingjy made little effort, trailing far in tin- rear throughout the running. Cemmell. the property of Hamilton and Co.. which una shows improved form recently, was a late withdrawal fioin the fourth race owing to a writ of replevin Inning been Issued against him. which in a measure marred what promised to be the best race of tlie day.
