MADMAN RUNS FAST THREE-QUARTERS. Salt Lake City. Utah. June 12. — Despite intense bait, the best Monday attendance of the meeting was present at Lagoon Park today. Form fill racing ■ gain prevailed, the success of four favorites and a well backed second choice rewarding the public. A handicap at six furlongs excited the greatest inter- ■ ■-! and attracted a well balanced field, among which Madman, from the lb-dwell stable, found the most I; or. going to the post a strongly backed favorite. He fully justified the expectations of his numerous lollowers by getting off in front aud setting a hot pace throughout. Incidentally he lowered the track record to l:ll|. Jockey T. T. Burns was today restored to good -landing by Judge Nathanson ami leaves tonight for Oklahoma City to ride during the forthcoming meeting there. Irwin Bios, left Sunday for Oklahoma City with the intention of racing in that section of the country. JoCkey E. Smith went along to ride for this stable daring the summer.
