BEN LASCA was taken back in the early running and moved up fast on the stretch turn, where he saved ground, and just got up to win after a hard drive. MOCKLER. probably best, lost ground by going wide and finished gamelv. ROMPIE set the pace fast, but tired slightly in the last few strides. STARTLER ran for-wardly to the stretch and tired in the final drive. DISCONTENT ran poorly. BOB FARLEY quit hi the stretch. Overweights — Sweet Owen. 1 pound.
