; : PROMINENT STABLES WELL REPRESENTED IN LOUISVILLE STAKES, FORESHADOWING A HIGH CLASS FALL MEETING ! Louisville, Ky., September 5. The entries for the fall stakes of the Louisville Racing Association, which closed last Saturday, have rounded out into ithe usual full list. They will not be published for !a week at least, as Racing Secretary Ed Jasper will hold the stake hook open for delayed entries from distant points. The list now in shows nominations from all the principal racing stables in the country, eastern as well as far western turfmen being liberal in their nominations. The events which closed Saturday were the St. Leger, Shawnee, Falls City and Iroquois Handicaps and the Cherokee and Golden Rod Stakes. In the two-year-old event, the following are among those nominated: Oakland, Wheelwright, Miss Wiggs, Cash on Delivery, Batwa, The Reach. Dr. Watson, lioniie Chance. Tommie Thompson, Mcrode, Floral Day, Ursula Emma, Colonel Cook. Tillios Nightmare, Amou, Duval, Recompense, Sir Blaise, Worth, Acguin, Sir Marion, Cockspur, El Toro, Wyandot, Kaiser, Casey Jones, Mother, Azyiade, Sprite, Gates, Millo, Gold Mine, Free Lance, Presumption, Mary Emily, Commoners.Touch, Iliant, Mack B. With ten starters, the Face, including the ,000 gold cup donated by the Kentucky State Racing Commission, will have a gross value of SS.400. Nunn iRoyal Report. A special train bearing more than 125 horses Is due to arrive here tomorrow morning from Wiudsor, Ont. In the shipment are thirty head owned by R. F. Carman, eight belonging to R. J. Mackenzie, eight owned by J. B. Respess, nine belonging to Wayne O. Joplin, nineteen owned by John W. Schorr, eighteen belonging to Henderson and Hogan. six owned by George M. Odom, three owned by Mrs. H. II. Selbv, four owned by Lon Johnson and Ave owned by F. J. Pons. All of these turfmen will have their entire stables here for the fall meeting. Acting Secretary Ed Jasper received a telegram from II. G. Bedwell today stating lie would ship fifteen horses here for the coming meeting. They will leave the Anaconda track in Montana for Louisville Setemler 10. Mr. Bedwell entered liberally in the Churchill Downs stakes. Theodore Abadie, having reduced his string to four horses, will cut into the yearling market this fall and buy a number of youngsters to represent liis stable as two-year-olds next season. The veteran trainer now has only four horses to race this fall, three of which are the two-year-olds Samuel R. Maver, Tom King and Felix. Falcada is the only Old horse in his barn. Ben Howe, Allendale Queen, Emilv Morris and Light Blue are four horses that Mr. Abadie disposed of recently. J. B. Respess has two horses that are training well at Douglas Park, they being the Kentucky Derby winner of 1009, Wintergreen, and the speedy four-year-old. Imprudent. Mr. Respess will have in his barn next season several two-year-olds by Mara thon and the first in training of that fashionably-bred English horse. It is understood he has the best band of yearlings this season that he lias ever bred and reared. Mr. Respess will ship Vreeland and the other horses he has in Canada to Kentucky at once. All will go to Lexington to race at the coming meeting there, except McCreary, which has been ailing and will be brought to Douglas Park. No attempt will be made to race this likely two year-old until the fall meeting begins at Churchill Downs.
